How to control access when "internet sharing" is enabled on my Mac?

Asked by lbus1229 (338points) November 12th, 2009

When internet sharing is enabled is there a way to control access to the wireless signal that is created? In other words, is there a way to password protect the signal just like one might do with a wireless modem?

From the help menu.

“Select how you want to share your Internet connection in the “To computers using” list. For example, if you want to share your Internet connection over AirPort, select AirPort.

If you share your Internet connection using AirPort, click AirPort Options and give your network a name and password.”
