How to measure the true of a man?

There is a debate running between family members on just what measures a man. One thought was if you had a man who could not or would not hold a job, lived at his parent’s house, never paid back loans but could get and often had sex with women that those were the traits of a real man, or that he was more man then most.

The other thought was that a real man would be he who had is own place, paid back his loans, helped out is parents instead of living off them even if he did not have frequent sex or near none at all.

Which of those 2 examples do you feel runs closer to what a real man is suppose to act like?
