African dwarf frogs are not extinct in their native habitat. They’re all over – just read, and in no danger it seems.

“African dwarf frogs can be found all around Africa, spreading from tropical to subtropical areas but the vast majority of them are from the Congo region.”
first sentence from the wiki on them

i think its a crappy tripod site thus unreliable.

azlotto's avatar

@uberbatman… Wikipedia is a good site but not 100% reliable..

El_Cadejo's avatar

more so than your site there. Also considering the fact i just spent 10 min searching google and that is the only site that says anything remotely close to that they are extinct in the wild, i would say its bogus.

@uberbatman…10 min searching?...I spent almost a year searching…I found little reliable information about these little frogs.

@azlotto: I don’t what else you’ve been doing for that year, but failure was a good part of it. Call some biologists, some zoos, use the internet. It’s amazing to me that if you spent a year searching and you don’t know if they’re extinct or not that you’re telling the truth.
