What are your thoughts on gauge invariance? do you think it works in the universe like it works in the lab, in giving us a better understanding of the universe ?.

Gauge invariance is a form of symmetry.

I would say I have none, as I don’t know what it is.

i would like to contribute my thoughts as well, most of which happen to be nonexistent. the rest were expressed in the previous sentence.

Gauge variance is a form of asymmetry.

this is fundamental physics were close to a fi nal theory of fundamental physics.
They decided to rst unify the forces other than gravity, then
unify them with gravity.

Ditto to everything else said. Could you give use a good article to read? Wiki? A short, easy to understand explanation? Very few of us have physics degrees, we need to be helped a little to be able to hold a good discussion.
