How can I help relieve my dog's gas issue?

My 3 year old pit but has been having horrible gas for the past week. She’s been on the same food for years. Nothing in her diet or day to day life has changed. Why the sudden increase in farts? How can I help get rid of this problem? I find myself having to carry aroundany air freshener spray everywhere I go. We need relief from this stinky situation!
