If you find out, let me know. I can give you a list of “dogs of the Dow” if you like.

I own one share of Krispy Kreme. Bought it in the ‘80s at it’s high, around 30. It’s currently 2.95. Think I’ll stick to my piggy bank.

I’ve been keeping my
eye on Netflix. Wouldn’t say it’s cheap—bit a good company with some good prospects.

Baidu. The reason this stock is interesting is because the have continued to grow with the growth in the Chinese Internet/# of Internet users in China (>350). In addition, with the possible pullout of Google from China, this creates an opportunity for Baidu to grow its market share in China beyond its current 65%. Google owns something like 25–30% of the search market in China. It is one to watch.

My broker (and HIS guru) are pushing AVY Avery Denison, the maker of:

Adhesives
Web-based Converting
High-speed Precision Coating
Printing
RFID
Microreplication
Extrusion and Films
Functional Coatings

2% dividend and decent P/E. Buyer beware, however.

Pretty scary time to be in stocks or anything else for that matter. I think we’re in for a major drop. Reference Robert Prechter at Elliot Wave. A good way to invest is through ETFs since you can put a stop in just below the price you bought at.
