From dreammoods.com:

To dream of an old lover, signifies unfinished/unresolved issues related to that specific relationship. Your current relationship may be awakening some of those same issues.

It’s usually the filing cabinet of your brain tidying memories away.

Very interesting, @kevbo. I occasionally have dreams about my ex-wife, though I have absolutely no desire to ever see or hear from her again.

I can see where we might still have unresolved issues, but after all these years of being seperated, I don’t know what that could possibly be.

It probably means you still like him.

Could just be your mind messing with you. It does that you know, I still dream of people I knew 20 years ago, most of which I wouldnt even recognise in real life if they slapped me across the face and shouted thier name at me while poking my eyes out with thier thumbs.
Best thing to do with dreams is either enjoy them (if they are good) regardless of meaning, or try like buggery to wake up if they are bad.

@scotsbloke it would be pretty hard to recognize them without your eyes alright. :P
