Recommended web site templates for small business?

Asked by jaytkay (25810points) January 12th, 2010

Does anyone have links to professional-quality but free site templates?

My design skills are not strong, so mostly I need an attractive framework to customize. All content will be static for now, with a couple of embedded Youtube videos.

I prefer templates, not build-it-for-you sites like Yola.com.

There are no free outright professional web templates out there that I know of. You may need to subscribe to hosting in order to benefit from enjoying the limited available templates some hosting companies offer. However, they may offer a trial website and if you’re savvy enough, you can extract the source code from the pages before they are expired from the trial server and make necessary changes to work on your server.

One I have used in the past is that from networksolutions.com

Try a CMS like Drupal, Joomla…

Not free, but Themeforest has a really nice selection for less than a night out at a restaurant.

Thanks everyone!

I think Open Source Web Design will have something I can use.

A CMS or Wordpress will come into play if the project succeeds, but right now we basically want a billboard.

Thanks!
