Would you watch a show about the Civil War?

I’m thinking more along the lines of a prime-time drama than a documentary, one that tried to be neutral in its depiction of the sides of the conflict. Similar in perspective to “The Red Badge of Courage,” only shot from both sides of the line, and covering the entire war instead of a single battle. Maybe even borrowing the less-boring and not-racist parts of “Birth of a Nation.”
