Erasing Old Backup Files?

Asked by anon30 (334points) January 28th, 2010

Using Tune-Up Utility’s I’d like to erase the old back-up files, last I did, and I wish I didn’t. but I could gain a lot more space on my computer if I do.

After I erase them, can’t I make a new back-up file?

What are you backing up to?

it depends on what you are backing up but you can reset you harddrive back to before you deleted them

I think that old back-up is the updates and stuff… and if i erase them, i can’t restore my computer to a earlier time.

But if i erase them, can i make a new restore date?

Last time I erase them, i didn’t really know what it was before.
and then my computer acted up so i tried to restore and no restore files was their.
