How about users get @fluther.com email addresses - that can be linked to blackberries or other mobile devices.

That way questions, comments, activities can be sent to your email device. Obviously it would depend if the server is set up for that kind of thing. Would it be something that other fluther users would partake in?

How about a down loadable application for phones, blackberries and i phones to stay logged-in and see the activities on our page.

[mod says] Some of this already exists. Go to “My Account” (up top there ^^), then to “Notifications”. You can choose to receive notifications about new activity, comments, and/or questions sent from users. In addition, you can tell us under what circumstances you’d like to be notified of questions for you. You can also choose to be notified via IM, email, or both. Of course, you’ll need to provide your IM name under “IM Settings”.

I envision a system where I get an email with the content of the post (or the question for me) and when I reply to that email it would post it in the proper thread
