Why don't my screensavers work?

Asked by Tink (8673points) February 12th, 2010 from iPhone

I haven’t changed any settings on it. It used to work fine. Now they only work when I test them, but when it actually goes to sleep the only thing that happens is the screen turns black. No screensaver no nothing. 
It bugs me.

Make sure your settings don’t have “power saver” on for screen savers.

Your power setting is probably set to to turn off the monitor power sooner than the screensaver is set for.

Ah yes it was that. I didn’t even realize that could happen if I shortened the energy saver. Thanks guys!
