Why do women love guys like these?

Why is it that some women stay with truly horrible men? Let say we have a nice young lady, “Maggie”, she is not a mud duck so she don’t have to settle, but she has this dude “Juan”, he is a real douche. Juan gets her car towed, she spends big bucks to get it back he never pays her back. Juan runs up her cell phone if he is not losing the phone all together she has to pay it off or buy a new phone. Juan steals money from Maggie’s purse and runs up her credit card; she has to pay it down no help from him. He crashes her car she pays to get it repaired. He tried to sneak other women on the side, and tries to play it off when he gets caught. He dumps her until the action gets slow or the other women kick him to the curb and she always takes him back. They have 2 kids and the only daddy he plays is the Disneyland dad, the one who sometimes buys birthday gifts, and vacations his side if the family he is never there for homework etc. What make a woman want to keep a lame guy like that? She feels she can’t do any better? She feels now that she goofed up and had babies with this tool and she feels she has to stay with him for the children? Ladies what is going on?
