About 3.5 hours. I live in Bergen county nj and have a house on lake Cayuga and I can make the drive in that time with one stop for gas and the bathroom.

From NYC I give myself 4 hours at least to get to Binghampton – and then about 20 – 30 minutes to Ithaca from there?

I travel between the city and Syracuse a LOT, and it can really take anywhere between 4 and 6 hours, depending on traffic.

I average around 4 hours, but it’s true, this is massively dependent on traffic.
