What does Raj say to the rest of the gang?

Asked by XOIIO (18328points) April 9th, 2010

I had been saying this a while ago, and I didn’t know where I heard it. Now I actually heard the word in this video. What does it mean, and how do you spell it?

What @gtreyger said. Namaste is a more formal way of saying hello in India. Like “Bonjour” is known in America as the french greeting (and “hola” for spanish), people here say namaste when they want to sound like they know something about Hindi.

The French also say, “Salut,” as an informal “Hi.”
