OK .. flame me... how do I condense a link?

Do you mean how do you get this instead having www.google.com show up in your question or answer?

If this is what you mean, you put the word that you want as your link (such as “this” was in my sentence above) in quotes. Follow the last quote immediately with a colon and follow that immediately with the web address you want to use.

These directions are available here as well as right below the spot where you type a response to a question.

If that’s not what you meant, I still want lurve for typing that much on only a half cup of coffee!

Happy to help. Even though the directions are below the place where you type an answer, I had the toughest time interpreting that one!
