Where can I find adult-sized light-up shoes?

Asked by Fred931 (9434points) April 28th, 2010

My little sister is throwing a fit because she’s been scouring the internet for a pair with no satisfactory result. Can you point me somewhere where I can find a pair, about US size 6, either in a retail store or online?

These have a light-up wheel visible through the cut-out sole.

@marinelife Seems cool, but I’m not sure if she wants to learn how to ride them, and I think she’ll want a pair of shoes that she can wear on school campus.

yeah they are would love to ride my bike down a dark street in those, it might cause an accident though :)

Why because you would be staring at your shoes? lol

@earthduzt She has actually already seen that pair and said that she doesn’t like it. Probably because it’s all black when the lights are off. She also definitely is not going to pay $300 for some shoes, considering she is one of the few sane people left on this planet.

I know Im not giveing you any practical information, but I think this is a great question. Ive allways wanted a pair for my self, so I feel your pain.

@earthduzt nice shoes but I am not willing to pay $300 for sneakers. Do they make them in the 50–70 dollar range? I have wanted a pair since I saw the ones my grandson had.

My little sister is probably going to order a cheap pair of kids’ shoes that light up and transplant the lighting and such to a bigger pair. She’s building her own chair right now, so don’t think she can’t do it.
