My friend has a girl dog, and she always tries to hump me from the back. I dont really understand why she does that because she is a girl

“Humping” isn’t always sexual for dogs… in fact, most often it is because the animal is trying to assert dominance.

Humping for dogs as already stated, isn’t always a sexual thing. Even for the male dogs. You will often see male dogs try to hump each other. It is an act of dominance. If she doesn’t put her foot down with her dog she will be unsocialable with people and other dogs and especially children, and this behavior unchecked can lead to aggression. She needs to learn her place in the pack. (people are her pack)
Yeah, she doesn’t see you as desirable but rather as weak and an intruder in her pack. She is trying to let you know she, leads the pack and you are lowly in rank.

The dog is “insecure.”

“She needs to learn her place in the pack.” GA! Not knowing its place is confusing it. Hence the humping.
