Is there an application like the Google Calendar Sync that will allow you to sync Thunderbird’s address book with the iPhone?

you could always do a workaround with the Google Calendar Sync, Thunderbird, and the iPhone. This might be possible since google calendar uses the ICAL format. I say “might” because I don’t own an iPhone. :’(

thanks! I already sync the google calendar with outlook which them from there syncs with the iPhone through iTunes. The trouble I have is that I want to find a good or similar approach for the thunderbird address book. Anyone?

I’ve found Zindus solves this problem for me.

1) Use iTunes to sync the contacts on your iPhone to Google as well.
2) Grab Zindus as an add on for Thunderbird. Configure it to pull your contact data from Google to your Thunderbird address book.

Viola!

You can use BirdieSync if you want to synchronize your address book and not bother with the 20-step process of using a Google account.
