Why do I end up in some obscure back-end file system when I go to iphone.fluther.com?

Asked by bluemukaki (4332points) March 15th, 2008

When I go to iphone.fluther.com on my iPod Touch, I end up in some thing called Trac with the page title ‘Error: Forbidden-bamboo-Trac’, why is this? I have also had trouble getting onto the mobile version of MySpace…

try clearing the cache in settings… If that doesn’t work, then your router may be blocking these sites or it could be an iPod touch problem… I’m on my iPhone right now!

Cleared the cache. It can’t be the router because the page I end up on shows the Fluther logo and has a heap of stuff about Fluther on it.

Whoops, I forgot to say that it still doesn’t work…

Are you sure you spelled the iPhone in iphone.fluther.com correctly?

@andrew Nice diagnosis of the problem.

Is there any reason why bamboo is serving up wildcard third-level domains? The default should probably be www.

Well I know very few things about Iphones but I know that if it’s a error it would say something like Error #245 (Not exact number) – Found a configuration or Mobile problum in Function…..

It does a horrible job explaining errors, if it is a error, find setting’s for the browser and fix it.

Perhaps maybe you need to get a newer version of an addon
