How do you track visits to your blog on Blogger/Blogspot?

Asked by DarlingRhadamanthus (11273points) July 3rd, 2010

I will probably be asking a number of Blogspot questions as I tweak my blog.

How do you keep track of visits? I know that there is a place to see who saw your profile…but what about people who just come through?

Any info would be appreciated!

You could use Google Analytics. It’s a bit of work to set up, but it’s free and incredibly powerful.

I’ve been using statcounter.com
It’s free and very detailed if your traffic is below 500 entries, so it’s perfect for my needs.

I looked at Google analytics, the language there feels very complicated. Plus, I’m suspicious of the Google domainance (e.g. how they are slipping in the ability to track Adsense next to it)...

Hi, there…...just posting waaaay after the fact.

If you have the new blogger…on the design page….there is a little tab called “Stats” and that will fill you in on the traffic coming to your site. It’s the easiest way if you use blogger (not sure on WordPress or Typepad…)

Just letting others know in case they are directed to this question. Best of luck!
