SkyTV (UK) Question: Is your News Channel Band (6) totally down? (Details follow.)

Hi….I usually watch American news on my News Band (6 as selection) which is the News Band station on Sky TV. It’s been down for hours. Is it just here or around the country? The message I get when I click on “NEWS” (6) is: There are no services of this type available.

Anyone else in the UK experiencing this? Thanks.

The only BBC news I get is through Comcast – called BBC World News America. It’s on now, that’s all I can say.

Hi....@YarnLady....I meant in the UK for UK watchers. BBC is on here, too. But it looks like they totally struck off the complete News Band. All the news stations.

Here in the UK…we have our SkyTV digital (or whatever) divided up into: All Channels, Entertainment, LifeStyle and Culture, Sports, News, Shopping, Religion, etc etc. Then, you pick one band, like “Entertainment” and it shows you all the channels in that topic.

What I am saying is that all the channels in the News band….are gone.

Anyone know what happened? All the others are working.
