The SAC museum about halfway between Omaha and Lincoln is worth a visit if you like old airplanes.

The children’s museum there is amazing. You could also take a drive to Omaha and check out one of the best zoos in the country.

The Pioneers Park Nature Center is worth a visit. Also Hyde Observatory.

Not alot 20 years ago in the winter. I was also impossible to get there by air at that time. I did not see the childerns museum but I can tell you they are usually really fun for kids. Email the chamber of commerce there or go to their site.
