How do I re-paste the two egg parts of a Kinder Surprise chocolate?

Asked by Ranimi23 (1917points) July 30th, 2010

My girl friend love the Kinder Suprise chocolate, so I want to surprise her with a modest gift of my own hide in the Kinder Surprise egg I will bring her. I opened the surprise inside the egg box and instead put something of mine and I want to close the two chocolate egg parts back.

How do I do this?

you COULD try putting the 2 parts in a fridge together. if they’re still not stuck then maybe try holding a match or lighter against the rims to melt them back together? im not sure how effective those will be but its worth a shot

Melt a little chocolate and dip one half in (just the edge). Quickly press it to the other half, and refrigerate to harden (you’ll probably have to support the two halves so they don’t come apart). If that doesn’t work, maybe a thin line of chocolate icing?

Cool the halves in a refrigerator. While they are cooling warm a flat dinner plate in hot water.
Place the halves on the plate so the edges get soft. Push together.

All of the above ideas sound perfect. I just wanted to say that I think this is so sweet & thoughtful :)

By the way I though it was a pretty cool idea too and even looked at buying some.
I discovered something funny. I can’t buy that candy here in the US because it is considered dangerous. However, I can freely buy another Ruger LCP .380 handgun if I was in the mood.
