I have a question about Facebook - How do I make it public ?

Asked by Casablanca (17points) August 26th, 2010

Hi,

Does anyone know how I can make the quote box on Facebook public ?

The space that’s in between your profile pic and information ? That little quote box – how do I make that public for everyone to see ?

I used to have it public, but did something on Facebook and now for some reason it doesn’t show anymore.

Can someone please tell me if I can make it public again?

On my profile page, I have written in blue, “Write something about yourself.”, in the quote box you are referring to. I can edit there. Also, check your Privacy Settings under Account for sharing on Facebook.

You can make posts of pictures and likes viewable to all public but I’m not sure if you can do this for your actual status bar. The only way I can think of if you edit your facebook security settings to make it public viewable which you proberly don’t want to do.

Casablanca, When you say “public”, do you mean to people who don’t have a facebook account? There’s a big difference in the two.
