How do I enable command extentions in windows 7 and XP?

I need to enable command prompt command extentions.

I don’t know if you’ve found out how to do this yet but I was looking for some tech questions to answer. In answer to your question, it seems that command prompt extensions are automatically enabled in both Windows 7 and XP, but if you scroll down on this page it tells you how to enable them in the registry (the instructions are for XP but suit Windows 7 as well).

Thanks, for some reason they aren’t enabled in my OS.
