I went through the same thing. I don’t know how old you are but I’m guessing your in high school? I had to switch schools a lot, and even though I’m outgoing it was still difficult for me to make friends. My advice would be not to go too far out of your way to make friends; join a few activity groups or clubs that you like so you can meet people with the same interests. Normally, you make the best friends when you aren’t expecting to. And if it bothers you when people stare, stare back… they usually look away real quickly. :)

Loll.. when i was in the 6th grade, moved from a city school, to a rural school. I wore white shoes the first day. To say the least, the “country boys” did not like my white shoes. At recess, this country boy named Keith Mattews, tripped me…..It was hot and dusty. I got up and we went at it. Keith had teeth that stuck out about three inches. Gosh, he was ugly. Anyway, I did a number on him. Mr. Reives, principal, carried us to the office and gave us 15 licks each. And, he hit us as hard as he could. Keith cried like a bady. I never moved. Stubborn.

Anyway, after that day, I was everyone’s friend.

So, my answer is go out at recess and deck the biggest girl/boy on the playground. Loll..just kidding. Just be nice to everyone and things will work out.
