The golf swing is an athletic move but it is actually quite simple. Assuming you are a right handed golfer, a simple way to think of the swing is to visualize your legs as posts in the ground. Rotate around your right leg on the backswing and around your left leg in the follow through. The swing should then happen quite naturally.
