Mac running parallels, and Windows XP only when I need to browser test.
I’d have to say Macs are ultimately better because of their simplicity, and stylish looks :p

It depends on your use. WIndows, ultimately, is better for animators.
I, as an artist, highly prefer my mac. It can actually handle what I want to do with it.

You said XP vs Mac OS X. That suggests that you already know that Vista sucks. At least with OS X you have the chance of an upgrade path you don’t hate.

If you are a programmer / developer with a *nix deployment platform, OS X is the best dev environment, hands-down.

I use a Mac… I will list some of the reasons why.

-A fully functioning Terminal
-No worry of spyware/virus
-TextMate
-CSSEdit
-It usually just works. My uptime is about 40 days.
-Free tools for developers

The only games I play are Dome Wars and Solitaire. I don’t care about gaming.

A mac can have windows. Mine does. I get the best of both worlds.

I’ve been a Mac user since the 4th grade, and there’s no way I could do my job without one. But in the end, I’m pro choice.

I am a switcher and I could’nt be happier. Mac is far better for me and I wish I could have my iMac at work.

MAC for sure!!

Any current Mac means you don’t need to choose. I have a MacBook Pro that I use for everything, when I want to chill with a PC game (the only thing Windows has going for it) I simply boot it into Windows. Why would anyone buy a computer that can’t run Windows, Linux, AND OSX at this stage?! Its a no-brainer, get a Mac.

Mac. Or, if you want cheaper, and don’t mind learning, www.ubuntu.com . Free OS that installs on any system(Your cell phone is probably already running it.)

definitely a mac.

Macs are better, definitely. My only complaint is that windows tends to run more programs that I use… But you can’t argue with the power, simplicity, and style of a mac!
