Maybe this isn't really a question, mod me, sue me, I don't care. Just asking, does anyone else want to celebrate that the first of the trapped Chilean miners has been rescued?

First Chile Miner Reaches Surface

So many mining accidents end in tragedy and disaster and since so many of us depend on coal and other fossil fuels for our quality of life can we just take a moment to be thankful for a happy ending? Someone has to wrestle the raw materials that support our lifestyle out of the ground. We should at least be glad that they don’t die in the process.

Yes, of course, there’s a lot of misery all over the world, not saying there isn’t. I’m not saying that the lives of the Chilean miners are worth more than the lives of anyone else in the world. Just saying that we should celebrate the happy endings just because they are often few and far between.
