Do weight-setting world record pumpkins have any taste?

A new world record has just been established for one pumpkin. A record-breaking 1,810 pounds was recorded as the worlds heaviest pumpkin. Question: Do these heavy pumpkins have the same taste, in a pumpkin pie, as compared to their lower-weight counterparts? Also, how many pumpkin pies can be made from a single pumpkin weighing 1,810 pounds?
