Is this number of Halloween spooks unheard of?

Asked by john65pennington (29258points) November 1st, 2010

Just when I thought that children trick or treating was dead, last night, my thoughts were revived. Wife and I had been out of state. Upon returning home, we turned a corner off a main thoroughfare and ran into six blocks of automobiles at a standstill. What was the problem? Spooks! At least 500 to 600 little trick or treaters were being escorted by their parents, door to door. I heard laughter and I heard screams. A beautiful sight and sound. I was totally amazed at the massive number of costumes that were running across the street and house to house for treats. Halloween is not dead, I told myself. Question: Would an incident, like this, revive your belief that children and parents still believe in celebrating Halloween? Also, how many spooks did you have knocking at your door on Halloween night?
