Anyone know why Amarok is not detecting iPod Touch?

When *buntu 10.10 was released, I originally went with Ubuntu. My iPod touch synced perfectly with the Banshee media player. Since I have switched over to Kubuntu as a personal preference, my iPod no longer seems supported.

The device manager will pop up saying that a portable media player has been plugged in, yet Amarok does not seem to detect it. I have deleted the config files as the Ubuntu wiki has suggested, but that didn’t seem to help.
