Has anyone heard or known of any specific reasons as to why you should wear a anklet on a particular ankle?

I know this question is all over the internet and every website has different reasons for putting them on either ankle. I really like anklets but never wore one because I could never find a definite answer as to which ankle it should go on. I wouldn’t want to defined as something I’m not by putting one on the wrong ankle.
