Is there anything to do to help fix a worn VHS tape?

A bit of a silly question, I know, but I thought I’d ask it anyways. I’ve got this tape that’s at least 15 years old. When I last recorded something on it it worked fine. Now, when I want to watch what I recorded, the tracking is off and a bit sporadic. The tape physically is sound; no tears or crinkles. The sound is fine, it’s just the tracking. My VCR is older, at least 10 years old, so that might be it. I don’t know. I just thought I’d ask and see if there’s anything I can do to help it.
