Anyone has success with mixing your own perfumed lotion?

Perfumed lotion is very expensive. I wonder if anybody has experience successfully mixing their own perfumed lotion.

For example, can I just by Coco Chanel and pour it into drugstore non-scented lotion? Would that work? Would the lotion grease destroy the smell, etc.? How about the longevity of the finished creation?

I know nothing about chemistry. I would appreciate any experiences. Thanks!
