How would you feel as a minority being asked these questions in an interview?

Question 1: and I quote “Are you sure your not a felon? Because you look like you might be a felon”

Question 2: And I quote once again, “You do know how to count don’t you?”

The job has nothing to do with counting or handling money.
During this interview two young, Caucasian and very perky females were hired on the spot ( I guess they don’t need a background check because they don’t “look” like felons) The other woman that got a “don’t call us we’ll call you” she over weight and a little older.

This happened to my boyfriend today and he came home from this interview with the look of disgust on his face, and when he told me the way he was talked to and treated I was hurt. Is it just me or does that seem wrong?
