What will happen if my foot keeps losing blood flow?

Lately my feet are constantly losing blood flow. I wake up and go to walk and it feels like spikes. I sit down on my feet for a few minutes and when I go to stand up I immediately fall, it feels like I have two jello boots on. If they keep going numb could that cause any negative affect over time?
