Have you ever had so many good things happen to you all at once that it leaves you stressed and irritable?

Man…on Monday we bought an 05 Dodge Durango. It’s just beautiful and LOADED with everything you can imagine. The original sticker price, new, was $36,000 (Who the hell would spend that kind of money on a car??) It was at a bank, obviously a repo. Long story short, Rick managed to get the thing for $5,600!! It Blue Books for $14,500! I just love it.

Then, same day, we turn around and give our Suburban to my daughter, who has two kids and has been without a car for two years. You can imagine the stress that has been for her AND for everyone who helped when they could.

And, for the first time that I can remember in 10 years, we weren’t going to be anywhere near overdrawn as payday came up on us Friday.

So, in the blink of an eye I have the best car I’ve ever owned, and the stress of my daughter’s lack of transportation was dropped from my shoulders, and, (for a while anyway,) I had no money worries at all, for the first time in a looong time.

I just wanted to sit down and cry. I was feeling peckish all the next day, Tuesday, and Wednesday too. Feeling kind of bitchy and irritable, and I kept telling myself I was nuts! That was one of the better things that had ever happened to me! I didn’t even want to drive the Durango. It was two days before I was able to relax, and I drove it for the first time today (Thursday) (It has heated seats. Heh! I have a $5,600 butt warmer! Heh!)

I can’t quite figure out what had me feeling so…pissy up until yesterday evening. It makes no sense to me. Can you guys help me figure it out?
