Have you tried the new I Renew wrist bracelet?

My wife bought one at WalMart. I cannot believe she fell for that trick. Anyway, we got it home and opened the package. The instructions were simple and self-explanatory. There was something missing. How the bracelet works on the human body. I went through the whole gambit as explained on television. First, my wife put her feet together and interlaced her fingers behind her. I was able to take her off-balance by pushing down on her hands. Next, I placed the bracelet on her wrist and went through the same procedure. To my surprise, I could not throw her off-balance as before! Question: does the I Renew Bracelet really work and what is the theory behind it?
