Can there ever be nothing (rephrased)?

if you take nothing as a double entendre then you could say the word nothing is something or you could say nothing is just a word to describe the absence of something. Also are you able to apply the same concept of Schroedinger’s cat paradox to the question, where it does and doesn’t exist at the same time because we have nothing to prove it so or to disprove it completely. Or is it relative where it changes from person to person?
