How to get rid of skunk smell?

My two dogs got sprayed in the face by a skunk and, as you probably know, stink. My Jack Russel ran through the house and rubbed his face in the carpet and now the house stinks. They are now locked up in the garage with a blanket, a dog house, a small heater, two bones, two balls, and a rubber goose. Oh, and my Jack Russel got some of the spray in his eyes. Will that hurt him?
How can I get the smell out of my dogs, my carpet, and, if possible, my house?
