What are my chances of getting into this college?

School Applied To: University of South Carolina (Fall 2011)

Date of high school graduation: 2008
High school GPA: 4.1
SAT Score: 1210/1600

Current school: Midlands Technical College (since 2008)
Previous Major: Nursing (school is known for rigorous nursing program)
New Desired Major: Psychology with a Minor in Business Administration
Current GPA: 3.22 (2 C’s in 6-credit nursing clinicals, the rest are A’s and two B’s)
Dropped Courses: 3 (Two clinicals when I decided to switch majors and a medical terminology class that wasn’t required for my major. both are W’s, not F’s.)

I applied to USC as a transfer student and I’m really nervous about not getting in. I know switching majors isn’t the worst thing in the world, but my GPA isn’t as good as I’m used to. I’d hate to be delayed another semester. I’m still enrolled at Midlands Tech and will be taking 12 credits in the Spring.

USC didn’t ask for my high school transcript since I’ve completed 44 college credits. However, I did well in high school so I sent it anyways. I’m hoping they’ll consider it, but there’s no guarantee they’ll look at it.

What would you say my chances are at getting into this college? I’m a first generation college student and a South Carolina resident, if that helps. I got accepted to USC once already right out of high school, but went for the cheaper/faster option. Now I’m ready to pursue a BA and go on to graduate school.
