Is Dr. J not wearing his hat now because of this question?

There was a question asked recently, which I felt was not so much in the spirit of anything but malicious trouble making. The person wanted to know if Dr. J was also going to be somehow representing Channukah, and after that Dr. J took his festive hat off. Does anyone really feel that the hat was somehow excluding people or that their rights were somehow violated? Is anyone here really objecting to the hat?
Is it really that big of an issue in a country that has always held Christmas to be a National holiday that a cartoon character temporarliy dons his gay apprel?
Is Dr. J going to get his hat back?
