How busy was it at your place over the holidays?

We celebrated Christmas at my house and had a houseful of overnight guests and more than a dozen for dinner. Buying the food, and cooking the ambitious meal I dreamed up was a time consuming task.

Afterwards, the kids were home and I was doing things with them, and I looked up to discover I’d had practically no time to do things for myself, like fluther, over the holiday.

How was it for you? Did you go AWOL?
