Do girls mean it when they say they'll go lesbian for another girl?

I’m in no way against gay rights but I think it’s so annoying to hear another girl say “I’m straight, but I’ll definitely go lesbian for _____. I’d love to hook up with her”

Really? You’re straight but you’d go lesbian for some other female? If you are, then you’re bi or lesbian…not straight. If a guy were to say this then he’d definitely be considered gay. I just hate when so many girls “act” bi or pretend to be “bi” because it’s considered cool or sexy.
