How do we get rid of unwanted attic pests?

My attic attracts flying squirrels. They are adorable and I’m very against killing them, so no poison or kill traps or anything like that suggested please. We put a trap up there and we’ve caught around 7 and released them at a park a ways away, but there are too many to get rid of them all that way. There not much of a problem, just messy and noisy at night. It’s amazing the sounds they make scampering and skittering and jumping in the middle of the night…
