“Strange Fruit” – Billie Holiday
“Birmingham Sunday” – Joan Baez
“Blowin’ In The Wind” – Peter Paul and Mary
I guess my question is just about the first one… I just looked up the lyrics to the last three. Any other suggestions of protest songs from the 60’s that are suitable for middle schoolers? Thanks!
