Bank of America website down, can't pay bills, how can I document that I tried to log on to pay bills so I can argue missed payments or late payment?

I’m concerned about being late on my mortgage payment and the effect on credit rating and a “history” of a late payment. I think I should be able to document that I tried to get on BoA site so to defend creditors dinging my credit history. How can i do that?
