When was the last time you caused someone to choke on their beverage because you said something just as they were swallowing?

I was showing my 25 year old daughter how to work the scanner for the computer. I said, “And once you….” and trailed off because I was teaching and talking and thinking at the same time and the next thing I needed to show her hadn’t shown up yet.
Anyway, I said, “And once you…....” .....after a second she picked it up and said, ”....go Black you never Go Back!!”
Absentmindedly I murmured “Tis not true, Dear.” Next thing I knew it was raining! She’d been taking a sip of water just as I’d said it! Apparently she’d somehow forgotten Jerry, an “African American” I’d dated off and on all through the 90’s! She almost DROWNED!!!
We will never get over the idea of our parents having sex, will we! : )
